The "Types" tab for Applicant Tracking allows you to create job types to better organize the types of job postings your organization offers. The default job types are:
- Full Time
- Part Time
- Contractor
Expand for Navigation Steps to Types
- Expand Settings and click Applicant Tracking from the menu.
- Click Advanced Settings from the top menu bar.
- Click the Types tab.
The "Types" tab provides the following columns:
- Edit
- Job Type
- Job Postings Assigned - The number of job postings the type is assigned to.
The Actions dropdown menu allows you to:
Adding a Type
- Enter the name for the type.
- Click Save. It will be added to the list of types.
Editing a Type
- Click the pencil icon
to the left of a type.
- The name of the type will populate the "Job Type" field at the top. Adjust the name of the type.
- Click Save when finished.
Deleting a Job Type
A job type cannot be deleted if it has been associated with any job postings. You must first change the job type on existing job postings to another before the job type can be deleted. Default job types (Full Time, Part Time, Contractor) cannot be deleted.
- Select the types to delete with the checkbox to the right that are not assigned to a job posting.
- Go to the Actions dropdown menu and click Delete Selected Records.
- Confirm the deletion.
