The "Workflows" tab allows you to configure the workflows for events that take place during the applicant tracking process. Any workflow created in the Workflow Management menu will be accessible in the Applicant Tracking portal.
Some of the events that take place in the Applicant Tracking portal are as follows:
- Job posting submitted for approval
- Job posting approved
- Job posting open
- Job posting filled
- Job posting closed
- Application submitted
- Applicant Hired
All of these steps can use their own individual workflow. They will kick off as the event happens. The system will also check if the event has been assigned to a specific job category.
Expand for Navigation Steps to Workflows
- Expand Settings and click Applicant Tracking from the menu.
- Click Advanced Settings from the top menu bar.
- Click the Workflows tab.
The "Workflows" tab provides the following tabs:
- Event
- Category
- Workflow
The Actions dropdown menu allows you to:
Adding a Workflow
- Specify the event to trigger the workflow, select the job category, and choose the workflow that should be triggered.
- Click Save. It will be added to the list of workflows.
Editing a Workflow
- Click the edit icon
to the left of a workflow.
- The workflow will populate the fields at the top. Adjust as needed.
- Click Save when finished.
Deleting a Workflow
- Select the workflow(s) to delete with the checkbox to the right.
- Go to the Actions dropdown menu and click Delete Selected Records.
- Confirm the deletion.
