Goals for a position allow employees assigned the position will have the position goals displayed. Only goals for the employee’s current position will be displayed.
Position goals can be added by a manager or an administrator and viewed by employees.
Navigating to Position Goals
- Expand Settings, expand Performance Mgmt, and click Positions from the menu.
- Click the Positions tab.
- Click an existing position or click Add Position from the Actions drop-down menu to create a new position.
- Click the Goals tab.
The "Goals" menu will have columns for:
- Goal - The description of the goal.
- Start/End Date
- Active
The Actions drop-down menu allows you to:
Adding a Goal
- Click Add Goal from the Actions dropdown menu.
- Enter the necessary information for the goal.
- Select the Start and End Date.
- Enter the goal description.
- Click Save Goal when finished.
Editing a Goal
- Click the description of the goal.
- Edit the necessary information for the goal.
- Click Save Goal when finished.
Deleting a Goal
- Use the checkbox to the right of a goal to select it.
- Click Delete Selected Records from the Actions dropdown menu.
- Confirm the deletion.
