Manager Permissions for Positions in Core HR

Manager Permissions allows you to grant managers permissions to view and manage aspects of a position from the employee profile.

Navigating to Position Manager Permissions
  1. Expand Settings, expand Performance Mgmt, and click Positions from the menu.

  2. Click the Positions tab.

  3. Click an existing position or click Add Position from the Actions drop-down menu to create a new position.

  4. Click the Manager Permissions tab.

Grant access to manager permissions with the checkboxes for the following permissions:

  • View Position - Allows a Manager to view Goals, Skills, and Training data for this position from the Employee Portal.
  • Manage Goals - Allows a Manager to edit/manage Goals for this position from the Employee Portal.
  • Manage Skills Profile - Allows a Manager to edit/manage the Skills Profile for this position from the Employee Portal.
  • Manage Training Profile - Allows a Manager to edit/manage the Training Profile for this position from the Employee Portal.
