The "Touches Outside GPS GeoFence" report is used to review time punch/record of an employee if they clock in/out outside of the GeoFence of the location of a time record.
Navigating to the Touches Outside GPS GeoFence Report
- Click Reports from the menu bar.
- Click Touches Outside GPS GeoFence in the Employee section.
Report Specific Options
The report offers the following report specific options:
- Show Employee/Location/Cost Code ID - Show the ID of the entity in addition to the name.
- Sort By - Sort the list of employees by their name or ID. If "Show Employee ID" is not enabled, this option will not be available.
- Separate Names and IDs with - Separate the entity name and ID with the specified option.
- Show each Employee on a Separate Page - Each employee will be shown on their own page(s). Useful when you need to review/provide the report for individual employees.
Example of Report
The report will list the time punches for an employee where their
- Day - Day the time record was for.
- Date - Date of the time record.
- Time - The time of the time record.
- Cost Code - The cost code associated with the time punch. This can be important for certain cost codes that you can disregard if the employee is outside of the GeoFence, such as if they are a driver.
- Specified Location - The location associated with the time punch. This can be important for locations where you can disregard if the employee is outside of the GeoFence, such as if they are picking up materials from a supplier for the office/client.
- Employee's GPS Location - The GPS coordinates associated with the employees' clock in/out.
- Distance from Site - The distance of the employee's GPS coordinates and the GeoFence of the location.
