Username Format

The options for the Username format are:

  • [Work Email Address]
  • [firstname][lastname]
  • [First letter of firstname][lastname]

Our best practice and recommendation for you is to use Work Email Address, especially if you have multiple brand/modules with Arcoro, to allow Single Sign On between platforms.

The Username format will display in two places within the system once selected.

  1. On the Employee record by navigating to the Employee's record > Employee > Demographic Info > Account

  2. Under Menu > Employee > Utilities > Account Management

Manage Accounts

Within Manage Accounts, you are able to generate new accounts, lock employees out of the system, and unlock employee accounts.

When generating new accounts, the user is sent a verification email with their username and instructions to create their password.  Once their account is created, they have access to the Core HR platform.

Communications

The Communications tab allows you to communicate a message to employees in the HRIS who have a work email address on file.  You may choose to send the communication with Username information and add a subject line to the communication.   If employee groups have been created through eligibility rules, only those employees who are within that group will receive the communication.

Checking the 'Send an account verification email to users who have not signed in yet or a password reset email to users who have already signed in' check box will send an email in addition to the custom email message created when the 'Send Message' button is clicked.

When the 'Do not send automated emails as part of this process' is checked under the General Settings, create a custom communication and check the 'Send an account verification email to users who have not signed in yet or a password reset email to users who have already signed in' check box so that the account verification email will be sent with the custom communication.
