Username Format

The 'Username Format' tab allows you to specify the username format that your employees will receive.

The options for the Username format are:

  • [Work Email Address]
  • [firstname][lastname]
  • [First letter of firstname][lastname]

Our best practice and recommendation is to use the Work Email Address, especially if you have multiple brand/modules with Arcoro, to allow Single Sign On between platforms.

Manage Accounts

The 'Manage Accounts' tab allows you to generate new accounts, send verification emails to employees, and lock/unlock employees in the system.

When generating a new account, users are sent a verification email with their username and instructions to create their password.  Once their account is created, they can access the Core HR platform. If an employee has not verified their account, you can send a new email so they can verify their account.

For more information about the 'Manage Accounts' tab, refer to the following dedicated article.

Communications

The 'Communications' tab allows you to communicate a message to employees in Core HR with a work email address on file.  You may send the communication with the employee's username information and add a subject line.  If employee groups have been created through eligibility rules, only those employees within that group will receive the communication.

Checking the 'Send an account verification email to users who have not signed in yet or a password reset email to users who have already signed in' check box will send an email in addition to the custom email message created when the 'Send Message' button is clicked.
