When using ExakTime Mobile, employees will see their name when logging in and any actions performed will be associated with them, such as when creating field notes or clocking in/out. If an employee sees another employee's name when logging in or if you notice that their time is going to another employee, it generally means that the employee is using the wrong PIN. This is most commonly due to the employee entering the incorrect PIN and not noticing (e.g. employee's PIN is 4455, but they accidentally entered 4456).
Try the PIN Yourself
As a PIN can be used on any copy of ExakTime Mobile associated with your ExakTime account, you can enter the employee's PIN on any copy available to you and confirm what name is appearing.
If the correct name appears, have the employee try their PIN again.
If the incorrect name appears, then the PIN entered for the employee on ExakTime Connect is incorrect.
Try Another Device
If the employee can access other copies of ExakTime Mobile, have them log in on another copy and see if the issue persists. As all copies of ExakTime Mobile use the same source of data, it is expected that all copies have a consistent experience.
Double-check PIN
The easiest way to confirm this is to have the employee tell you the PIN they are using and compare it to the PIN on ExakTime Connect from their Employee Details.
Double-check Name
Have the employee enter their PIN and confirm the name that they are seeing. Some employees may overlook the name when clocking in/out and not realize that their time punches are going to another employee. If the name is not theirs, have them log out and log back in to see if they misentered the PIN. If they continue to see another employee's name with their PIN, double-check their employee details in ExakTime Connect and the PIN that was assigned to them.
