5/21/21 Applicant Tracking & Onboarding Release Notes

Arcoro is excited to announce the 05.20.2021 release for our customers and partners. This release provides new features and enhancements to existing functionality for the Arcoro Applicant Tracking and Onboarding modules. This article will describe the software updates and provide details to help you get started with these enhancements.

Onboarding Default Username

Today most employers provide their employees with a work email address, however some employers prefer to use the employee’s personal email address for company communication and as their username for access into the employee self-service portal of their HRIS.

The enhancement allows for a new hire to use a temporary username when completing their Onboarding paperwork sent from the Arcoro Applicant Tracking and/or Onboarding modules. The new hire will then use their personal email address as their Core HR username. Arcoro Core HR customers who also have the Arcoro Onboarding module and would like this option for their employees, can now do so when leveraging a new enhancement in the May release.

Review the below functionality for this enhancement within Arcoro Applicant Tracking and Onboarding to decide if it would be a good fit for your company. If you need help with your decision, please contact your Arcoro Account Manager. This new feature can be used by clients with Business Units in Applicant Tracking and/or Onboarding.

Applicant Tracking

When using this feature a temporary username will be generated for the new hire when an Applicant Tracking user selects Manage Applicant Post-Hire Process under Actions on the Hired Candidate’s profile. The new hire’s temporary username to complete their new hire paperwork will default to the following format [FirstNameLastName]. If the new hire’s first and last name are not a unique username, there will be a number automatically added to the end of the temporary username.

To turn on the enhancement in Applicant Tracking, navigate to Applicant Tracking > Administration > Account Information > Enable Arcoro Onboarding default username > Toggle to Yes.

Note that when the feature is off, new hire usernames for Onboarding will continue to default with the new hire’s personal email address provided on their application.

The new Onboarding username functionality is also available in the Onboarding module when a new hire is added under Incomplete New Hires.

To turn on the following functionality, navigate to Onboarding > Administration > Settings > Enable Arcoro Onboarding default username > Toggle to Yes

Note that when the feature is off in Onboarding, new hire usernames will not automatically populate, and the Onboarding user can determine the new hire username.
