Administrators will have permission to Custom Alerts and Notifications by default, while other roles can have varying permissions to Custom Alerts and Notifications. These permissions can range from full access, view-only permission, or permission to create and send custom alerts and notifications from web.
For Alert/Notifications Recipients
Your recipients do not need additional security role permissions for web or mobile to receive alerts/notifications. They will need to fulfill certain criteria such as, but not limited to, mobile phone/email on their employee profile and/or mobile to have 'Notifications' permission.
The requirements for recipients are detailed in the introductory article.
