When using AccountLinx, you may notice that you are unable to export time records for the same or future date as the export (i.e. you are exporting time records for January 1st, on January 1st). This is intended to prevent accidental exports for time records made on the same day that may be incomplete.
How to Export Time Records for the Same Day
At this time, if you want to export time records for the same date as your export attempt, you can adjust your computer time to be in the future, so AccountLinx will not flag current-day records.
After performing the steps below, you must set the date and time to the present to avoid issues with time-dependent features, such as websites and software, such as SAGE, etc.
Depending on your computer security, you may need help from your IT professional, as some organizations require all computers to have the same date/time.
- Right-click on the date/time from your taskbar and click Adjust date and time.
- Disable the 'Set Time Automatically' setting and click Change under 'Set the date and time manually'.
- Adjust the date and time to the future. Save your changes.
- Use AccountLinx as normal to export records.
- After exporting your records from AccountLinx, set the date and time to the present to avoid issues with time-dependent features such as websites.
