Using the "Unpaid" Column for Time Cards in ExakTime

The "Unpaid" column for your employee's time card will allow you to review how much unpaid time your employees have accumulated from specific ExakTime features. Any time in the "Unpaid" column will not count overtime calculations and will not export through AccountLinx.

What Populates the Unpaid Column

The unpaid column will populate with time for any time record created from any of the following options:

  • Manual Meal Break Records
  • 'Unpaid' Time Off Records

What Will Not Populate The Unpaid Column

The unpaid column will not populate from any of the following situations:

  1. Automatic Lunch Deductions - The 'Auto Lunch' policy option will only deduct from your employee's worked hours and will not appear in the 'Unpaid' column.
  2. Gaps of Time - Gaps of time between your employee's time records will not populate the 'Unpaid' column.
