Special Consideration for Existing Custom Form Use in ExakTime

With the ExakTime Forms update, we have ensured that any Custom Forms developed through Custom Development will continue to function following the release. In addition to Custom Forms, the stock/standard forms previously offered such as the COVID-19, Injury, and Meal Break forms are considered 'Custom' with the introduction of the ExakTime Forms update. 

For additional clarity on the continued use and success of your custom form, we have provided a list of important notes and considerations below:

Notes for Continued Use of Custom Forms

• Any custom forms will be noted with "Custom" under the 'Form Type' column from the Form Listings page. 

  

• Custom forms cannot be edited/modified as they may be associated with other custom items, such as custom reports or custom AccountLinx exports.
  • Only the custom form developed for you will work with your custom report and/or AccountLinx export. If you try to recreate the custom form through ExakTime Forms, it cannot be linked/used with the custom report and/or AccountLinx export.  
  • If you are unsure what related items were created for your custom form, refer to the statement of work for your Custom Development. If you cannot locate your statement of work, please consult your account manager for more information. 
• If your custom form uses custom assignments handled via a custom field, you must continue using the associated custom field for the custom form. 
  • Custom fields used for a custom form are not compatible with ExakTime Forms.
  • If you are unsure what custom fields were used with your custom form, refer to the statement of work for your Custom Development. If you cannot locate your statement of work, please consult your account manager for more information. 

Actions for Custom Forms from ExakTime Forms

With the release of ExakTime Forms, you can perform the following actions from the Form Manager page:

• View the custom form. This can be helpful if you want to recreate a custom form with the form manager.
• Archive the custom forms. (The form will be set to Inactive)
• Unarchive the custom forms. (The form will be set to Active)

Recreating a Custom Form

If you are using a custom form that is not associated with a custom report, AccountLinx export, or custom field, you can recreate your custom form to add/remove questions.
