We understand that with a flexible system, one can be overwhelmed with what to do in the Learning Management System. To help with this, we have created a list of common items to periodically review and check.
While the checklist does not have a specific order for you to complete, some items may need to be completed before other steps, and items can be skipped or done more/less frequently, depending on your organization's needs. Each item also provides links to supplemental resources that may help you.

Weekly
- Generate Transcript/Course Assignment Reports - Generate the transcript/course assignment reports to have an overview of what is currently assigned.
- Check on Expiring Certifications - Generate reports with certification expirations to see who needs to be recertified.
- Assign Learning Plans/Courses - Assign new Learning Plans/Courses as needed to your employees.
- Managers Review Approvals - Managers should review their approval queue for employees enrolling in courses, learning plans, etc.
- Check Core to Talent Import - If you are using Core, make sure that your Core to Talent import is running successfully. You should should receive emails if there are any errors.
Monthly
- Review Course Content - Make sure your course content is up-to-date and relevant for your organization.
- Generate Certification Reports - Generate reports with certification expirations to see who needs to be recertified.
Yearly
- Review Course Content - Make sure course content is up to date for the upcoming year.
- Assign Learning Plans/Courses - Assign new Learning Plans/Courses that should be done yearly for your employees.
- Update Certifications - Update the certifications of your LMS.
