Setting Up SPF for the Applicant Tracking System

SPF (Sender Policy Framework) is a tool to help prevent malicious spam by identifying which email servers are authorized to send emails that claim to be from a domain. The SPF filtering of the email recipient checks if the email source is authorized to send the email. If the email source matches an authorized sender, it is more likely to be legitimate. This can help when sending emails through an application/service but you want the domain of the email to be from your company.

If you would like us to send emails on your company's behalf, your IT Administrator will need to follow the below steps to update this information on your servers and spam filtering service:

  • Check with the filtering service for any "blacklisting" of the domain
  • Check with filtering service to add "arcoro.com" as a safe sender
  • Check with filtering service to add SPF record for "include:spf.arcoro.com"
  • Add SPF record for "include:spf.arcoro.com" to DNS

We also advise that if you can whitelist/safelist IP addresses in your company's email client then please add the below to your lists so your email client does not block emails from our email server

  • 149.72.192.36
  • 149.72.207.194
  • 167.89.41.82
  • 168.245.2.69

Next Steps

After completing the above, please use the "Request Support" link at the top of the page with the following information:

  • All your domains (e.g [domain name].com)
  • The primary/key contact email to receive the confirmation email to complete the set up.
