When using any of our Arcoro modules, you may encounter a situation where you are logged out immediately after logging in. When this occurs, it is often right away, without warning or any indication as to why it had occurred.
The cause for this issue is commonly due to the date and time being incorrect on your computer. Many modern applications and websites use a "security token" to help ensure the security of the website and the user. If the date and time of the "security token" is different from your computer's date and time, it will assume that the "security token" issued is outdated and log the user out so the user can log in and generate a new "security token". If the date and time of the computer are incorrect, this result will repeat until the original cause is resolved.
This can be remedied by simply correcting the date/time on the PC to ensure that it is correct. If the date/time appear to be correct, double-check the time zone as well. The steps below can help with general date/time issues. Depending on your computer security, you may need help from your IT professional as some organizations require all computers to have the same date/time.
- Right-click on the date/time from your taskbar and click Adjust date/time.
- Enable 'Set time automatically' if not already enabled.
- Check that your time zone is correct. Ideally, it should be set automatically.
-
Go to the Apple menu and click System Settings.
-
Click General.
-
Click Date & Time.
-
Enable 'Set time and date automatically' if not already enabled.
-
Enable 'Set time zone automatically using your current location' if not already enabled.
