Using the Time Record Variance Report for ExakTime

The Time Record Variance report provides additional data on discrepancies where an employee's ExakTime Mobile time punch does not match the network time or if there was no network time to compare against. If there is a discrepancy, you can further investigate the reason with the employee such as if there is no cellular service in the area.

You can also enable an ExakTime Mobile Security Role permission that prompts a warning/restriction message when an employee clocks in/out with a device and network time variance of 5 minutes or more. This report can be used for all ExakTime Mobile punches, regardless of whether the 'Network Time' permissions are enabled or disabled.
