Arcoro is excited to announce new fields for employee profiles to support the upcoming Arcoro Payroll module, Termination date and Annual Salary. With the assumption they will be released initially to payroll beta customers and will be released to all ExakTime customers.

Enhancements

Termination Date

Termination date is a new field. This is not a required field. Will be used to designate when an employee was terminated from the company. Use of this field will not have any functional impact within ExakTime. For example, setting a termination date will not set an employee to be inactive.

To offer less manual entry and to accommodate the removal of a termination date based on status change in ExakTime. The following scenarios have been defined for the system to remove termination date from an employee's profile

• On Employee Edit page:
  • Employee is made inactive & has a terminated date on profile set
  • Employee is made active again while terminated date on profile set
    • System automatically removes terminated date upon profile save
• On Employee Listing page:
  • Employee is made inactive & has a terminated date on profile set
  • Employee is made active again by clicking the checkbox on the list page
    • System automatically removes terminated date upon profile save
• CSV Import
  • Employee is inactive and has a termination date set
  • If import data for EE changes status to active, termination date will be cleared.
• Business Bridge import
  • Employee is inactive and has a termination date set
  • If import data for EE changes status to active, termination date will be cleared.
• Termination Date and CoreHR to ExakTime employee import
  • When an employee in CoreHR has Termination Date set and profile saved, update Termination Date in ET.
  • It is possible in CoreHR to set an employee to an active status and fill in a termination date. We will sync these 2 fields exactly as they are set in Core, so it will be possible to have an Active status / Termination Date populated in ET if using Module Sync.

Annual Salary

Annual Salary field will be visible on an employee’s profile when their employee type field is set to Salary or Salary-exempt. Annual Salary will be used by Arcoro Payroll Module to perform payroll calculation within the payroll module.

Max character limit of 99,999,999.99 dollars.

Annual Salary field is planned to be included in the CSV import tool after initial release with no current release date.

Employee Wage Permission

Currently the employee field Hourly Wage is only visible to default administrators and other security roles with the access permission to Employee Hourly Wage. The annual Salary field will also be tied to this permission. The permission will be renamed Employee Wage for a more generic description of these two fields.

Limitations of Existing Functionality

Site Hub on ExakTime mobile will not be updated to show employee salary information. Site Hub will continue to show with wage permission an hourly wage for hourly field employees. ExakTime Stock reports, Employee Estimated Payroll and Location Estimated Labor Cost will not be updated to perform any calculation based on the annual salary field.
