With AccountLinx, you can export your employees' time data from ExakTime Connect directly into Sage BusinessVision. As BusinessVision may be customized to fit your company's needs, it is possible that the default AccountLinx export for BusinessVision will not match your BusinessVision setup exactly. Please read through this article before setting up AccountLinx to understand what is needed ahead of time.
If you have any questions or concerns during setup and/or use, you can contact us with the "Request Support" link at the top of the page and we will try to assist as best as possible. Keep in mind, however, that we are not BusinessVision support. We will try to help you as much as we can, but there are aspects of BusinessVision that are out of our area of expertise and your questions may be better answered by BusinessVision support or your trusted contact to answer/assist.

General Use of AccountLinx
After setting up the configuration of AccountLinx to better match BusinessVision in the previous section, you will need to:
- Map your entities so any time data associated with an ExakTime entity will match with an BusinessVision entity and fill in any relevant fields enabled in the previous section. Refer to the following article if you are unfamiliar with mapping your data in AccountLinx.
- After mapping your entities, you can export your time data directly into BusinessVision. Refer to the following article if you are unfamiliar with exporting time data from AccountLinx.
How to Import Time Data into BusinessVision
It is recommended to consult with BusinessVision for assistance with reviewing the time data as they are more knowledgeable of their best practices.
Please note that AccountLinx cannot tell BusinessVision to calculate the payroll taxes and withholdings, and that once the import is completed, this must be done inside of BusinessVision for each employee. Simply select the Employee for the proper period in the TimeCard screen and click Total to have BusinessVision complete the calculations.
