With AccountLinx, you can export your employees' time data from ExakTime Connect into a compatible file for SunPac. As SunPac may be customized to fit your company's needs, the default AccountLinx export for SunPac may not match your SunPac setup exactly. Please read through this article before setting up AccountLinx to understand what is needed.

We will try to help you as much as we can, but there are aspects of SunPac that are out of our area of expertise and your questions may be better answered by SunPac support or your trusted contact to answer/assist.
Selecting SunPac as your Exporter
- Go to Tools and click Exporter Settings....
- The Exporter Settings window should open. Click Select Exporter....
- A window with a list of available exporters should open. Select "SunPac" and click OK.
AccountLinx Settings Unique to SunPac
The SunPac export for AccountLinx offers a variety of settings when exporting your time data to help tailor the time data to your company's needs. These settings are unique to AccountLinx and will not affect ExakTime Connect or Mobile. If any of the settings offered do not sound familiar, you may not be using the setting in SunPac and can leave it as <None>.
- Go to Tools and click Exporter Settings....
- The Exporter Settings window should open. Click Configure... to open the 'Settings' window.
- Default Hours Codes
- Regular Hours Code - Enter the regular hours code as used in SunPac.
- Overtime Hours Code - Enter the overtime hours code as used in SunPac.
- Overtime 2 Hours Code - Enter the overtime 2 (doubletime) hours code as used in SunPac.
- Other
- Map Speed School to - Specify the entity the speed school should be associated with. The related mapping screen will have additional fields for you to complete.
- Route Number to - Specify the entity the route number should be associated with. The related mapping screen will have additional fields for you to complete.
- Job Code to - Specify the entity the job code should be associated with. The related mapping screen will have additional fields for you to complete.
- Absence Code to - Specify the entity the absence should be associated with. The related mapping screen will have additional fields for you to complete.
- Default Hours Codes
- Click OK on the Configuration window and click OK on the Exporter Settings window to return to the main page of AccountLinx.
General Use of AccountLinx
After setting up the configuration of AccountLinx to better match SunPac in the previous section, you will need to:
- Map your entities so any ExakTime entity for a time record will export with the equivalent SunPac entity and fill in any relevant fields enabled in the previous section. Refer to the following article if you are unfamiliar with mapping your data in AccountLinx.
- After mapping your entities, you can export your time data to import into SunPac. Refer to the following article if you are unfamiliar with exporting time data from AccountLinx.

When you click "export", you will be prompted to enter a Pay Code that will be applied to all records in the export session.

An example of an AccountLinx export has been provided below. The data have been preformatted based on SunPac's template. The presented values can differ depending on your settings.
While you can manipulate the exported data after it has been exported, it is highly discouraged as it can result in data discrepancies when double-checking any data.
How to Import Time Data into SunPac
When the AccountLinx export file is created, it will typically use a default file name such as "AccountLinx Export - yyyy-mm-dd-1.txt" where yyyy-mm-dd is today's date in year-month-day format. You will typically copy this file into a SunPac folder (i.e. C:\SFFIN) on your computer and rename it SPEEDIF.TXT for import into SunPac.
It is recommended to consult SunPac for further assistance with importing and using the time data as they are more knowledgeable of utilizing their system.
