With AccountLinx, you can export your employees' time data from ExakTime Connect into a compatible file for WinTeam. As WinTeam may be customized to fit your company's needs, the default AccountLinx export for WinTeam may not match your WinTeam setup exactly. Please read through this article before setting up AccountLinx to understand what is needed.

Selecting WinTeam as your Exporter
- Go to Tools and click Exporter Settings....
- The Exporter Settings window should open. Click Select Exporter....
- A window with a list of available exporters should open. Select "WinTeam" and click OK.
AccountLinx Settings Unique to WinTeam
The WinTeam export for AccountLinx offers a variety of settings when exporting your time data to help tailor the time data to your company's needs. These settings are unique to AccountLinx and will not affect ExakTime Connect or Mobile. If any of the settings offered do not sound familiar, you may not be using the setting in WinTeam and can leave it as <None>.
- Go to Tools and click Exporter Settings....
- The Exporter Settings window should open. Click Configure... to open the 'Settings' window.
- Default Hours TypeIDs
- Regular - Enter the regular hours code as used in WinTeam.
- Overtime - Enter the overtime hours code as used in WinTeam.
- Overtime2 - Enter the overtime 2 (doubletime) hours code as used in WinTeam.
- Use Alternative Hours TypeIDs
- Map Hours TypeIDs to - Specify if alternate hours typeIDs should be associated with specific employees, locations, or cost codes. This allows particular employees, locations, or cost codes to have an alternate set of hours typeIDs when exported. The related mapping screen will show fields to enter the hours typeIDs that should be associated with exported time records. If an entity does not have alternate hours typeIDs, it will use the default hours typeIDs instead.

- Click OK on the Configuration window and click OK on the Exporter Settings window to return to the main page of AccountLinx.
General Use of AccountLinx
After setting up the configuration of AccountLinx to better match WinTeam in the previous section, you will need to:
- Map your entities so any ExakTime entity for a time record will export with the equivalent WinTeam entity and fill in any relevant fields enabled in the previous section. Refer to the following article if you are unfamiliar with mapping your data in AccountLinx.
- After mapping your entities, you can export your time data to import into WinTeam. Refer to the following article if you are unfamiliar with exporting time data from AccountLinx.
How to Import Time Data into WinTeam
After AccountLinx creates the export file, you will use the Timekeeping Import feature of WinTeam to import the Excel file. It is recommended to consult WinTeam for further assistance with importing and using the time data as they are more knowledgeable of utilizing their system.
