The "Arcoro Sync" module present on the SkillSignal Web portal enables you to sync the data from Arcoro to the SkillSignal system i.e, to onboard/push workers from Arcoro to the SkillSignal System. The prerequisite to use the Arcoro Sync module is to have an active SkillSignal system account.
- This module would be shown to Primary and God users only.
- By default, the ArcorSync Module would be set to “Hide” from the admin portal.

'Mobile Phone' Fields in Arcoro Modules
To ensure smooth setup and use of SkillSignal, the 'Mobile Phone' field for employee/user profiles should be populated.
If you are syncing data between Core HR and Talent Management with Arcoro Hub, the 'Mobile Phone' field must be populated in Core HR, as it is considered the source of truth for Arcoro modules and will sync data to integrated Arcoro modules.
If you are not using Core HR, you can populate the mobile phone field directly in Talent Management.
The 'Mobile Phone' field can be found in the 'Employee' tab of Core HR when adding or viewing new employees. If you are also using Onboarding, the field may already be populated. It may help to set the 'Mobile Phone' field to be required to avoid missing it, as it is not typically required.
- Search for the employee that you want to manage.
- Hover over "Employee" to show the available pages and click Demographic Info.
- Click the Employee tab from the Demographic Info page.
- Enter the mobile phone number of the employee.
- Click Account Admin while in the Talent module.
- Click Edit to the left of any employee from the 'People' menu.
- Populate the employee's mobile phone number.
Initial Arcoro Sync Configuration
- When clicking the “Arcoro Sync” module in SkillSignal, if no configuration setting is added, then a configuration setting screen will appear to add the following Arcoro credentials of an employer.
- User Name
- Password
- API Key
- After clicking “Proceed”, another pop-up screen will appear to confirm if the entered Arcoro credentials are valid.

After clicking “Save”, the configuration setting will be saved and the following dropdown options will appear on the configuration screen based on the given credentials:
- Location – Consolidated locations of the workers of an Arcoro employer whose credentials were added in the configuration setting, no duplicate location allowed, single selection dropdown.
- Employer – List of all the employers/companies registered on the SkillSignal portal, workers will be mapped to the selected employer provided they fulfill all the prerequisites of worker onboarding flow, single selection dropdown.
- All the workers having the selected location will be mapped to SkillSignal employer/company selected from the respective dropdown.
- For example, there are 50 workers from Arcoro whose location is New York. If the New York location and Weston Power Inc employer is selected from the respective dropdowns in the configuration setting then all those 50 workers having New York location will be mapped to Weston Power Inc employer in the SkillSignal system.
- Users can add or delete multiple combinations of Locations and Employers respectively, using the respective Add and Delete (plus or bin) icon.
- Same location cannot be selected in the multiple entries.
- The location once selected will be frozen.
- After clicking "Save", users will be redirected to the list view of Arcoro Module.
- Workers will be differentiated into three categories once an API call takes place and will be shown in the respective tabs mentioned below:
- To-be Synced
- Already Registered
- Can Not be Synced
- If a user deletes location and employer entry from the configuration setting, the workers associated with it and are present in "To-be Synced" tab will be moved to the "Cannot Be Synced" tab since the location is mandatory to fetch the workers. Workers present in the "Already Registered" tab will remain in the same tab and cannot be moved elsewhere.
Tab 1: To-be Synced
The "To-be Synced" tab includes a list of workers who fulfill all the criteria/information to be onboarded on the SkillSignal system and were not synchronized earlier.
- The list of workers shown in the list belongs to the Arcoro user whose credentials were entered in the configuration setting screen.
- The workers registered on Arcoro should have all the below information to be onboarded on SkillSignal:
- Phone Number – mobile number of a worker.
- First name of a worker – first name of a worker.
- Last name of a worker – last name of a worker
- Zip Code – zip code of worker, it represents the zip code of a SkillSignal employer selected from the configuration screen should be shown by default.
- Employer Name – name of an employer selected from the configuration screen.
- Users can select multiple or all the workers from the respective checkbox and click on the “Sync Now” button to sync worker’s data from Arcoro to SkillSignal.
- The workers will be pushed/mapped to the selected employer from Arcoro to SkillSignal and will be shown in the worker’s module of a respective employer’s login.
- After clicking “Sync Now”, the user will be shown the following pop-up message: “Sync in progress…” You’ll receive an email when the process is complete”
- The system will initiate the synchronization process of the selected workers in the backend.
- Once the workers are successfully synced, those workers will be available in the worker's module of SkillSignal portal with the selected employer. It will also include all the certificates fetched from the Arcoro system, SkillSignal users can add other details to the certificates and save them.
- The certificates fetched from Arcoro will be shown in the workers profile with the available name. Once a user clicks the edit button, the certificate name will not be shown on the edit screen since the name of the certificate fetched from Arcoro does not match with the certificate’s master list names present on SkillSigal.
- SkillSignal user can add/select a name for such certificates from the respective dropdown and save it. Once the details of the certificates are saved it will reflect the updated certificate name on a list view.

Once a Sync process is completed, an email will be sent to the registered email ID of the employer user –
- Email Title: "SkillSignal - Your Arcoro Synchronization is complete."

Thank you.” - Please Note: The Successful section includes workers synchronized from Arcoro to SkillSignal successfully. Unsuccessful section includes workers present in Can Not be Synced tab.
- After clicking “Edit Configuration”, a following pop-up screen will appear wherein the previously added configuration setting will be shown to the user.

Users can make changes to the added details and save their changes after clicking “Save & Proceed”.
Tab 2: Already Registered
The "Already Registered" tab provides a list of workers who were already synced or previously registered in the SkillSignal Platform with the same mobile number.
- Such workers will be moved to the Already Registered tab upon API call.
- You can view and search the list of workers but cannot make any changes to it.
Tab 3: Can Not be Synced
The "Can Not be Synced" tab will list workers registered on Arcoro and do not fulfill all the criteria to be onboarded on the SkillSignal platform.
- An informative icon will be present against each worker, indicating the reason(s) for not being able to be onboarded on SkillSignal.
- The workers lack any of the below information and for the same reason they cannot be onboarded on the SkillSignal platform from Arcoro:
- Phone Number
- First name of a worker
- Last name of a worker
- Zip Code
- Employer Name
