For an employee manage the performance or timesheet/time card of an employee in Core HR, they would simply need to be set as a "Manager" from their employee profile.
The manager can then be assigned to an employee from the employee's profile so their time or performance can be managed.
Making an Employee a Manager
- Search for the Employee to be made a manager.
- Go to Employees in the menu bar and click Demographic Info.
- Click the Employee tab.
- Check the appropriate "Manager" box for the employee.
- Save your changes.
Assigning the Manager to Employees
A time or performance manager can be assigned to an employee from an employee's profile or with an import layout, such as the Time Manager Import Layout or Performance Manager Import Layout.
- Search for the Employee who needs to be assigned a manager.
- Go to Employees in the menu bar and click Demographic Info.
- Click the Employee tab.
- Select the manager from the "Time Manager" and/or "Perf. Manager" drop-down menus.
- Save your changes.
