Employers are responsible for printing paper checks on their own purchased check stock. The recommended check stock is DLT 159 check stock, provided by Deluxe, a leading check printer for top payroll providers.
Once payroll has been submitted and approved, you will be prompted to download the paper checks report to print in the Payroll Review section. Check numbers can be seeded prior to printing in the Pay Breakdown section.
Common Questions
- Why are you using DLT159 and not another check stock?
- DLT159 has a top-check and 2/3rds blank bottom, which gives us the ability to show the full earnings statement on the check.
- Can I find DLT 159 in other stores besides Deluxe?
- DLT 159 is a SKU number for Deluxe, but you can find this design in other places, listed under “Laser Top Check, Multi-Purpose 7.5 Voucher”. If you don’t order from Deluxe, we urge you to match the design exactly, it will impact alignment.
- I have DLT104 checks, is the design backwards compatible?
- Yes, we completed print tests on the new designs with DLT 104 and it is backwards compatible.
- I’m having print alignment issues with DLT159?
- Unfortunately, there is still the possibility of printer alignment issues depending on the individual’s printer. If you're having issues, we first suggest ensuring you have the new DLT159 check stock. Secondly, print a few test checks, adjusting the printer in order to get it right. If you are still running into issues, reach out to Arcoro support and we will help where we can.
- What envelopes work best with DLT159?
- You should order #9 double windowed envelopes from a store such as Staples. The address for the company should fit in the top window, and the address for the residence should fit in the bottom window. The amount will be covered in the middle.
