Arcoro has updated the state tax forms for 2025 for many states that have released forms. In addition to this change, Arcoro made updates to the outputs of selected filing statuses by state within our public API and filing statuses selected when transferred to Core HR via Onboarding. Updates made within Core HR to the user experience for state tax filing status selection for many states are included to synchronize onboarding, Core HR, and updates to our integrations (3rd Party Payroll Connections and Non-integrated Payroll).
What Has Changed?
Onboarding
Yearly Arcoro makes updates to the state tax forms that each state releases. Forms that received an update are now within Onboarding and can be used for new hires going forward.
This release also includes the 2025 Federal tax form in Onboarding.
Onboarding API
Updates have been made to states where the filing status did not match consistently from what option is on the form to the value we were placing in the public API. These values have now been updated for all states that did not have consistency and/or where new filing status values were made an option on the state form.
Core HR
Updates have been made to states where the filing status did not match consistently from what option is on the form to the value displayed within Core HR’s UI. These values have now been updated for all states that did not have consistency and/or where new filing status values were made an option on the state form.
This change impacts the values within the import templates regarding state filing status values, example: Single on the form equals “S” on an import. These changes will also reflect on exports as well with the corresponding filing statuses.
This release also includes the 2025 Federal tax form available within the Document Library/Workflows feature.
3rd Party Connectors
Updates have been made to file outputs that utilize the onboarding public API’s to data map the filing statuses to match non-integrated payroll providers that some customers utilize to send their new hire data.
Integrated payroll connections were also updated to map and/or match the filing statuses from Core to those payroll connections we integrate with so there is no disruption in updating/creating records within customers’ payroll accounts.
