Arcoro payroll will allow users to indicate when certain company parameters are "Applied For" but not yet available. This feature is useful for new businesses waiting for state-specific EINs from their state agencies.
When a parameter is marked as “Applied For,” certain state forms that require this information may be deferred for signature. This is expected behavior and will not block implementation or payroll processing. We recommend employers enter the required information as soon as it is provided by the state agency.
If this information is entered after the company is live, it may place the company in a blocking status. In this case, employers will need to complete any deferred forms.
A reminder: it is critical that missing information, such as EINs, be entered promptly once available. Without the complete data, Arcoro cannot file taxes with state agencies, which could lead to penalties or interest due to missing EINs.
