Closing a job posting can be important to do to ensure you only have open/relevant job postings listed and to prevent candidates from applying to erroneous job listings. You can close a job posting either manually or automatically by setting a closed date.
You can also delete a job posting if the job posting has a status of "Open" or "On-Hold" if the job posting was created erroneously.
Candidate information is retained for closed or deleted jobs. Candidate information can be referred to from your candidate pool or from the closed job posting.

Click Jobs from the top menu.

Click the job title under the "Job Title" column while viewing the table for your jobs.

Click the
edit icon next to "Status" under the Job Information column on the right-hand side of the screen.

Change the status to closed.

Click Save Changes when finished.

You should see a confirmation prompt to confirm the closing of the job posting and what closing a job posting will entail.

Click the
edit icon next to "Close Date" under the Job Information column on the right-hand side of the screen.

Enter the close date for the job posting. Click Save when finished.

The job posting will automatically close on the specified date.
- Click Jobs from the menu bar.
- Select either Open or On-Hold to list jobs with the given status.
- Select the job(s) to update the status with the checkboxes to the right, up to 50 on a single page.
- Click # Jobs Selected.
- Select the option to change the status to Closed.
- Confirm the changes to be made.
- You will receive a confirmation message after the status has been changed.
- If one or more jobs cannot be updated, the system will identify the failed records and preserve successful updates.
- The ATS will send your standard position-filled communication to applicants for affected jobs when applicable.

Click Delete Job for a job that is "Open" or "On-Hold".

You will see a warning that deleting a job cannot be undone, and you must be mindful of any regulations you must adhere to before deleting the job. If you understand, you will type "DELETE" in the provided field and click Delete Job.
