The 9-box Talent Matrix or Succession Pool will plot your employees out based on their overall performance score, along with a potential score assigned by the manager.
The only way to move an employee within the 9 boxes, is to change their performance ratings within the evaluation or adjust their potential rating.
The Talent Matrix does not offer a limited view for managers. It will display everyone possible for the search results.
- Click Talent Matrix from the menu bar of the Succession module.
Use the Talent Filter options of Job Code and/or Company Location to filter the listed employees.
If you are not seeing any initials in the boxes after an evaluation has been completed, make sure the employee's Potential Rating has been added. Refer to the following dedicated article.
An employee's Performance Rating is based on:
- Average score of competencies
- Scores are from completed, non-self evaluations
Potential Ratings are as follows:
- A=High
- B=Med
- C & D=Low
Mouse over the initials to view the employee's scorecard.
