The "Step 2 - Benefit Mapping" tab is where you specify how the benefits from one benefit plan will match the destination benefit plan. If there will be no corresponding benefit, you will be able to select "No Mapping". Benefits that should be mapped with the rollover must have the same effective date. For off-cycle benefits, you will need to create a separate mapping for those specific benefits.
- Review that the "(Benefit) From" column and the "(Benefit) To" column are mapping as desired (i.e., Medical is mapping to Medical). Select from each of the drop-down menus provided the benefit that should map to.
- If for any reason you need to update what the benefit from is mapping to, you can specify the appropriate benefit it should map to.
- If a benefit does not have a corresponding benefit in the destination plan, use the drop-down to specify "No Mapping" from the list.
- Any Benefits that should come into this year’s package as "Waive" should also be selected as "No Mapping".
