To support larger payroll runs, Check expanded its system’s capacity from 500 to 1,500 total line items (employees and contractors) per pay run. This required adopting the new Check API version released earlier this year.

Enhancements

Pre-Calculation Alert

When clicking Review Payroll on a run exceeding 500 line items, a notification now appears explaining that calculations must complete before the preview is available. The user will receive an alert once processing finishes.

Enhanced Status Indicator

• We’ve added a new “Ready” state to the Payroll Review Status. This makes it clear when all calculations (gross pay, taxes, benefits, and deductions) have been performed and the review is available.

  

• We have also added this "Review Status" as a column in the Payroll Grid screen (list). "Ready" means calculations have been completed and the review screen is now available.
