Arcoro has released a minor change within the learning and performance product to enhance the experience for our users, including our multi-product customers.
What Does This Mean To You?
Arcoro has updated the functionality within the Learning and Performance location settings to follow our other products' functionality in the deactivation of locations. We have also added a warning message when disabling/removing manager permissioning to align with our other products.
Enhancements
Deactivating Locations
Admins will now be able to deactivate locations rather than deleting them. This update allows administrators to view locations that are inactive and are able to reactivate, if necessary. Admins will no longer see the option to delete a location.
With this change, the following updates were made:
- Removed the ability to “delete” within the location listing.
Existing functionality that remains:
- Setting the location as active or inactive via a checkbox within the location modal
If you’re a customer with other Arcoro products, the ability to set a location as deactivated may not be available, for example, if you have Arcoro Payroll
New Warning Message When Removing an Employee’s Manager Role in Talent
Admins, when removing this role permissioning, you will now see an informational message when clicking the "Save" button that alerts you to downstream impacts if the user you’re removing the permission from has direct reports. If they have direct reports, reassigning them immediately will eliminate any downstream impacts. If the user does not have direct reports, then no changes are necessary.
