As part of our continued commitment to maintaining seamless integration with Indeed, we will be adding new job posting fields to our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and will begin sending disposition data for jobs posted to Indeed with Indeed Apply enabled.

You may need to do additional actions to make sure your job postings and job templates are doing what you'd expect.

What Does This Mean To You?

• New job posting fields have been added to support compliance with Indeed’s latest integration standards: Precise Salary Data and Precise Location Data.
  • For job postings not using Indeed or not using Indeed Apply, these fields are optional.
  • These additional fields will display on the job posting and application pages.
• Disposition data on jobs posted to Indeed, with Indeed Apply enabled, are sent only on dispositions for new applicants (Applied), Hired, and dispositions with words containing “not selected” within them.
  • This data is collected by Indeed for their purpose/use only and is not visible within Applicant Tracking (ATS).

Why This Matters

Indeed has mandated these additional data points to ensure higher quality and better-targeted job matches for candidates. These fields and syncing of dispositions help improve visibility and performance on the Indeed platform.

What To Expect

These new fields will display within the job posting on the Indeed site and will be included in the Arcoro job posting and application site pages.

• Precise Salary Data - All Indeed Apply integrations must support precise salary nodes. Example: $50,000 per year or $4,000-$5,000 per month.

  • Salary fields are now found within the Job Posting page when posting jobs from scratch, a template, or an existing.

  

• Precise Location Data - All Indeed Apply integrations must support precise location nodes. Example: 10 Main Street, City, State, 55555 or 55555 (postal code for mobile jobs)
  • Address line 1 fields are now found within the Job Posting page when posting jobs from scratch, a template, or an existing.
  • The new address line is not validated against the city and state for flexibility purposes of entering job site locations vs. headquarters, etc. The city/state/zip can be that of a major metropolitan area, if you need to widen your recruitment network.

  

Disposition data is sent automatically via API to Indeed. There is no visibility of the disposition data within the applicant tracking system, nor on your Indeed site. This data is utilized solely by Indeed to aid in better candidate selection for future positions by learning the types of candidates selected or deselected within the hiring process.

Action Required

As of 10/1/2025, the required precise salary and location data are no longer required to post jobs to Indeed.

Indeed Job Syncs API

Arcoro is in the process of updating our integration with Indeed’s job sync API to send job posting data in real-time. This includes opening new jobs, closing jobs, and any changes to the job posting details. This ensures that your job information is updated in real time, allowing for the most up to date information to be read by applicants.

Within the job’s Activity History, the recording of sending the job and refreshing the job will be tracked, as you would expect with today’s activity history tracking when creating and refreshing jobs.

This update will occur seamlessly with no action required by you, once released.
