7/2025 - Arcoro Integration Release Notes

This maintenance release introduces a host of enhancements aimed at boosting accuracy and alignment across systems. As always, this release also includes various optimizations and minor bug fixes for integrations with Acumatica, CMiC, Sage 300, Sage 100, Spectrum, and Vista, ensuring a smoother experience for all users.

Enhancements

Integrations Module

Notable enhancement is in regard to connector properties and covered in the Spectrum section.

Providers

Acumatica

  • Compensation records are now selectively written based on the wage type:
    • Acumatica ➜ Core HR: Only "Regular" wage type records are written.
    • Core HR ➜ Acumatica: "Regular" wage type records are written or managed.
    • Non-"Regular" types will not trigger deactivation.
  • Annualized salary is now rounded using "Banker's Rounding" (to the nearest penny) instead of to the nearest dollar.

CMiC

  • Core HR tCMiC mapping now uses the Trade Code (instead of Trade Name) for improved accuracy.
  • CMiC will continue to display the correct name in its interface. In preparation for CMiC's enforcement of a 1,000-record paging limit (effective July 25), we have preemptively updated our integration to remain compliant.

Sage 300

  • Improved handling of future-dated Federal Tax records:
    • If an employee’s Federal Tax start date is in the future, a warning will now be displayed:
      • “Employee’s Federal Tax Start Date is in the future. This record will not be synced.”
    • To ensure the record is synced, the user must either:
      • Update the start date to today or earlier, or
      • Wait until the start date has passed.
    • Improved handling of expired Federal Tax records:
      • If an employee only has expired records, the connector will display an error and prevent syncing.
      • This prevents incorrect tax data from being written to Sage 300.
  • The Core HR to Sage 300 connector now blocks unsupported compensation types (type 3) and alerts users to correct rate codes before re-syncing.
  • When "N/A" is selected or defaulted in Core HR, we now write it as "Single" to ensure maximum withholding. This helps employees avoid underpayment.
    • States Affected: KY, VA, RI, MI, PR
    • Null State Handling: IL, IN, PA

Sage 100

  • Added validation for employee Federal Tax records to improve data accuracy:
    • Records with a past end date (expired) will be skipped and not included in the export.
    • Users will receive a warning for each skipped record, including the employee ID and the reason.
    • Valid records will continue processing as expected.
    • To ensure a Federal Tax record is processed, the following must be true:
      • A start date is present
      • Start date is not in the future
      • End date is not in the past
      • Start date is not later than the end date
  • When the "Override Prenote" setting is off in Core HR and a direct deposit end date has passed, a new warning message explains why the record remains active in Sage 100. Users will be prompted to review and correct outdated records before re-syncing.
  • Suppressed warnings when adding new employees without a state filing status, while maintaining warnings for updates.
  • When "N/A" is selected or defaulted in Core HR, we now write it as "Single" to ensure maximum withholding. This helps employees avoid underpayment.
    • States Affected: KY, VA, RI, MI, PR
    • Null State Handling: IL, IN, PA

Spectrum

  • A new file format has been added to support importing emergency contact details into Spectrum, minimizing redundant data entry for users.
  • Removed special characters (e.g., commas) from output file names to prevent downstream issues and improve compatibility.
  • A new warning appears when a Maryland tax record is missing a required county:
    • “County code is required… Please correct the Employee's tax record in the source system and execute the Sync again.”
  • Added a new optional parameter for syncing records by employee change date to reduce the number of exported records.

Vista

  • When "No Deductions" is selected in Core HR for Louisiana, a null value is now sent to Vista for correct mapping.

Payroll Module

  • Search improvements on grid screens:
    • Tax Deposits now supports searching by amount.
    • Payrolls page to include all columns for better filtering/searching.
  • Pay schedules can now be edited until a payroll using that schedule is marked as paid. After that, date changes are locked for regular payrolls.
  • Added instructions in the Banking section of the Employee Profile:
    • Users must choose either percentages or amounts—mixing methods isn't allowed.
    • If using amounts, leave the final account blank (it will be treated as the net remainder).
      • The system enforces these rules before saving.
  • Reviewed and aligned field names and layout on Company and Employee pages for a consistent user experience.
