10/2025 - Learning Release Notes - Learning Course Content Player Enhancements

Arcoro is pleased to announce an update to the learning course content player to increase course file size limits and allow retrying failed uploads. These upcoming enhancements will also require downtime of the course player and course uploading, as detailed here.

What Does This Mean To You?

The player will provide the same experience and functionality as today, but this update provides an enhancement to increase the file size limit of courses and a course upload processor that removes “stuck” in processing courses to the failed tab, which will allow the customer the ability to delete or re-upload again.

Expected Downtime

To provide these enhancements to the learning course content player, the course player and course uploading for the Learning Management System will be unavailable from 9:00 PM EST (6:00 PM PT) on October 15th for approximately one hour. If a user were to try to take a course or is in the middle of a course during this downtime, they will be redirected to a page indicating an update is in progress.

Please prepare accordingly to the expected downtime to minimize any inconveniences. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

  • The course upload page can now support up to 2GB files from the original 512MB limit, and the error wording has been updated when the max file size limit of 2GB is exceeded.
  • Updated the processor to allow for retries of course uploads in the case of service disruption, loss of connection/timeout.
  • Updated the processor so that if retrying to upload a course is not successful, the course will move to the “Failed” tab to allow the customer the ability to delete the course and/or try to re-upload again.
