Training & Achievement: Performance Management for Managers in Core HR

The "Training & Achievement" tab will list your organization's training items and the employee's assigned.

Expand for Navigation Steps to Management Training
  • Click Performance from the menu.

  • Click the Management from the Actions drop-down menu to create a new job posting or the title of an existing job posting.

  • Click the Skills tab.

The "Skills" tab will list direct reports and the following columns:

Updating Training Item

Properties

  • This is an Active Training Item - Allows employees to be configures against this item.
  • This item requires renewal - Allows the training item to be renewed with a workflow (i.e, annual professional certifications).
  • Item - The name of the training item. (Required)
  • Category - The General category of the training item (i.e, Professional Development, Sales Department, First Aid, etc.). (Required)
  • Location - The physical location of the training item. (Optional)
  • Instructor - The instructor for the training item. (Optional)
  • Duration - The length of time required to complete the training item. (Optional)
  • Credits - User-defined amount assigned to the training item. Can be used to incentivize the employee's completion of the training item. Reportable in the Export Utility. (Optional)
  • Description - User-defined description of the training item. (Optional)
  • Notes - User-defined internal notes detailing a training item. (Optional)

Renewal Workflows

The "Renewal Workflows" allows you to set up the workflow that should trigger when an the employee needs to renew their training.

The "Employees" tab will list employees who are assigned to the training item, require renewal, and/or have expired training. It will provide the following columns:

  • Emp Name
  • Emp ID
  • Date Issued
  • Expiration Date
  • Renewal Required
  • Doc Required

Reports

The following reports are available for "Training & Achievement":

  • All Employees (Excluding Terminated) - Displays a listing of employees for which this training item has been recorded. Employees with an employee status of Terminated are excluded.
  • Employees with Expired Training Items - Displays a listing of employees for which this training item has been recorded and is expired. Employees with an employee status of Terminated are excluded.
  • Employees requiring Documentation - Displays a listing of employees for which this training item has been recorded and for which documentation is required. Employees with an employee status of Terminated are excluded.
  • Terminated Employees - Displays a listing of employees for which this training item has been recorded. Only employees with an employee status of Terminated are included.

Document Upload

The "Document Upload" tab allows you to select an employee, upload a document, and specify if the document satisfies the training item.
