The AI Writing Assistant will help you create a good starting point for creating job descriptions for your job templates. The AI Writing Assistant will use the job title to help generate a tailored job description in English and Spanish. You can then further refine the job description to suit your organization or regenerate the job description until you find one that is suitable.
The AI Writing Assistant is currently available when:
With New Job Postings & Requisitions
- From the "Jobs" page of the ATS, use the provided menus to create a requisition or job posting from scratch.
- After filling in the English job title, click "Generate Job Description" to create an English (and Spanish, if enabled) job description. The job title will inform the AI writing assistant of the content it should generate for your job description in the "Job Description" field.
- You can click the button again to generate an entirely new job description. If there is any part of the job description you want to keep, you must copy the parts you want to keep before regenerating the job description.
- The job description should be reviewed before it is finalized for your organization. AI-generated job descriptions can be a great starting point, but you should always review for accuracy and tailor them for your organization, region, etc.
With Drafts, Templates, or Existing Jobs
- From the "Jobs" page of the ATS, use the provided menus to post a job or create a requisition from a draft, template, or from an existing job.
- Click Edit with AI.
- You will see a menu with the job title and a field for how you want to modify the job description. For example, you may want to add a section about benefits. After entering the desired modifications, click Generate.
- You will be shown a revised job description. The original job description will remain unchanged until you confirm the changes.
- If you did not like the results, you can click "Try different prompt" to adjust your previous prompt and try again. If there is any part of the job description you want to keep, you must copy the parts you want to keep elsewhere, such as Notepad, before regenerating the job description.
- When you are satisfied with the results, you can click "Keep This Version". If you are also posting a Spanish job posting, it will also be updated if it has been enabled when using this feature.

When Creating Job Templates
- Click Administration from the top menu bar.
- Click Job Templates from the list on the left-hand side.

Use the appropriate option:
- Click to create a new job template.
- Click Edit under the Action column to update an existing job template. Editing a job template will not update any job postings/requisitions using the template.
- Click Duplicate to create a duplicate of an existing job template and make adjustments.
- After filling in the job title, click "Generate Job Description" to create an English (and Spanish, if enabled) job description. The job title will inform the AI writing assistant of the content it should generate for your job description in the "Job Description" field.
