Arcoro is pleased to announce a series of updates for the Learning Management System to add email templates for learning plan assignments and preventing retroactive emails.
- Learners and managers are immediately informed about new learning plan assignments without needing to log into the portal or rely on separate email blasts.
- Learners will receive more timely and relevant email notifications, while training admins and managers can have confidence that out-of-date email notifications are not sent.
Enhancements
Learning Plan Email Template
- The new email template, named “Learning Plan Assignment” can be found under Account Admin > Company Setup > Email Templates.
- The new email template can only be viewed and edited by training administrators. The template can be enabled and disabled directly from the email templates page. By default, the email template will be disabled.
- The email template can be edited by clicking the “Edit” link in the main email templates page. An admin can edit the name, subject, and body text of the email from this screen.
- The body text of the email will include a link that takes a learner directly to their learning plans page to view the newly assigned learning plan.
- Once the email template is enabled, it will be sent to any learner who is assigned a learning plan. If a learner is assigned more than one learning plan, they will receive an email for each of these learning plans assigned.

Prevent Sending Retroactive Emails
- The change being made has two components:
- When an email template is disabled, emails will not be queued and sent for this email template. This will prevent historical email sends.
- When an email template is enabled, emails will begin to be queued and sent.
- The change will affect the email templates in the table below. Any template not in this table will not be changed as part of this update:
