We are enhancing the system landing page to provide a more action-driven experience for users. Previously, the landing page primarily served as a navigation hub, requiring users to enter individual modules to determine what actions required attention. With this release, the landing page will now surface role-based tasks and time-sensitive items immediately upon login, allowing users to quickly identify and act on important items without additional navigation.
The modules included in this release are:
- Applicant Tracking (ATS)
- Onboarding (ONB)
- Core HR
- ExakTime
- Performance
- Learning Management
This release builds upon the initial static landing page by introducing structured shortcuts that reduce clicks and improve productivity while maintaining consistent navigation across the platform.
This enhancement applies to users who are already Hub-enabled and use multiple Arcoro modules included in this release. Users enabled in Arcoro Hub going forward will experience this new landing page.
For impacted users:
- The post-login experience will now include Your Tasks & Quick Links
- No existing functionality, permissions, or data structures are changing.
- Quick Links simply provide direct navigation to existing features within each module.
Single-module users and users not yet Hub-enabled remain unaffected.
This phased approach continues to enhance the Hub experience incrementally while minimizing disruption.
Enhancements
“Your Tasks” Section
A new Your Tasks section has been added to the landing page to display high-priority, role-relevant items. Tasks are dynamically generated based on the user’s role, relationships in the system, and permissions.
The first phase of dynamic task functionality focuses on Onboarding (ONB).
Onboarding Tasks
Two tasks will be available for hiring managers:
- Complete Manager Action Items Displays new hires assigned to the manager who have outstanding manager-related onboarding actions. Since new hires are linked directly to their hiring manager, this relationship determines which employees appear in the list.
- Employee Paperwork Due Shows new hires assigned to the hiring manager whose onboarding paperwork is due within three days, helping managers stay ahead of important deadlines.
Task List Behavior
- Each task displays a list of associated employees beneath the task.
- The landing page will initially display up to 5 employees per task.
- Users can expand the list to view additional employees, up to a maximum of 20 employees.
- Role-Based Quick Actions
- Quick Actions are now permission-driven and role-based, ensuring users only see actions they are authorized to perform.
- Default quick actions provided for each module
- Visibility controlled by individual user permissions
- Actions tailored to employee, manager, or administrator roles
- Direct navigation to the relevant task or system page
- For example, an Onboarding manager without the “Manage Users” permission will not see Quick Actions associated with the Electronic Filing Cabinet.
- Default Quick Actions by Module
- The landing page will display one Quick Action per product to simplify navigation and highlight the most common action within each module.
Quick Actions include:
| Module | Quick Action |
|---|---|
| ATS | Post a Job |
| ONB | Add New Employee |
| Core HR | Add New Employee |
| LMS | Approval Queue |
| PER | Approval Queue |
| ET | Approve Time (navigates to Time Summary) |
These actions allow users to immediately begin the most common workflows without needing to navigate through module menus.
Qualification Rules
Users will be automatically routed to the Hub landing page when all the following conditions are met:
- Company is Hub-enabled
- User has access to more than one qualifying module
Qualifying modules include:
- ATS
- ONB
- ExakTime
- LMS
- Performance
- Core HR (Admin)
- Payroll
- Integrations
Special Exception: Core HR Access
For employees with Core HR access:
✓ Core HR Admins → Will receive Hub access
✗ Core HR Employees → Will continue to use the Core HR Employee Portal
Examples:
✓ User is a Core HR Admin and has access to at least one other product → Sees Hub landing page
✗ User is a Core HR Employee (non-admin) with access to other modules → Lands on Core HR Employee Portal
Only Core HR Admin status determines Hub eligibility.
Additional Release Information
Users who were enabled for the new landing page on February 5th, will not have the new quick links.
Landing Page Examples
To help illustrate on how the landing page would be utilized, we have provided an example scenario below for a user.
This example user represents someone who plays dual roles within the system: an HR Administrator in Core HR and a Hiring Manager in Onboarding. Their responsibilities span both administrative management of employee records and hands-on participation in the hiring and onboarding process. They rely on the system to efficiently move employees from hire through ongoing employment and development. They also have other products in Hire, Manage & Grow.
Once they are caught up on all* tasks, they will see a completion message within the ‘My Tasks’ area.
* The completion message will appear only when all tasks are finished in the applicable product(s), based on the user’s access to Onboarding.
