For years, Arcoro users managing both ExakTime and Core HR have had to maintain two separate mobile apps — one for field time tracking and one for HR self-service. This created friction for employees who needed to move between workflows, added overhead for IT and admins managing two app deployments, and delivered a fragmented experience that didn't reflect a unified Arcoro platform.
The Arcoro Unified Mobile App solves this by consolidating ExakTime and Core HR mobile capabilities into a single, cohesive application. Employees — whether they're field workers clocking in from a job site or office employees checking their benefits — now have one app, one login, and one branded Arcoro experience.
The Launch Release ships the full ExakTime mobile experience alongside four Core HR self-service features, establishing the foundation for a unified platform that will grow with future releases.
- One app for everything — Employees no longer need to switch between separate mobile apps. ExakTime time tracking and Core HR self-service are available in a single unified experience with one login.
- Access HR information on the go — Employees can view their personal HR details, browse the company directory, check their benefit elections, and access pay stubs directly from their phone — no desktop required.
- Full ExakTime mobile functionality preserved — All current ExakTime Mobile features — time entry, GPS punching, scheduling, and more — are available in the unified app with no loss of functionality.
- A consistent, branded experience — The unified app delivers a modern, cohesive interface aligned to the Arcoro design system, reducing confusion and improving first-use adoption.
- Built to grow — The Launch Release establishes the platform foundation. Additional Core HR, Exaktime and Arcoro product capabilities will be added in future releases.
Enhancements
How to Access
The Arcoro Unified Mobile App will be available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store at launch. Employees download the app, log in with their existing Arcoro credentials, and are presented with the modules available to them based on their company's configuration and their own role and access externally.
The minimum OS version required to install the Arcoro app is Android 14 and iOS 18. These versions match the current Exaktime Mobile minimums.
Provisioning
- Username and Password - Employees can log in using the same credentials they use to access the Arcoro web platform. Identity services will automatically associate the user with the correct company — no additional setup code or configuration is required. Users with SSO configured (e.g., Azure AD) can authenticate through their existing SSO provider.
- Company Setup Code - Employees can provision the app using an ExakTime company setup code, consistent with the existing ExakTime Mobile provisioning experience. This path is particularly useful for new employees or field workers being set up by an admin.
- ExakTime App (Auto-Provision) - If the employee already has the ExakTime Mobile app installed on their device, they can select the "ExakTime App" option on the provisioning screen. The Arcoro app will automatically pull the necessary configuration data from the existing ExakTime app, completing setup without requiring the employee to enter any credentials or codes manually. This option is designed to make migration from ExakTime Mobile to the Arcoro Unified app as seamless as possible for existing users.
Elevated Access
For users with both ExakTime and Core HR, the app enforces an additional layer of authentication to protect sensitive HR data.
When a user logs in using their ExakTime PIN, they have access to ExakTime functionality only. A prominent login option and menu item labeled "Allow Full Access" is displayed. When selected, the user is prompted to enter their Username and Password to unlock Core HR features. This ensures that sensitive HR data — benefits, pay stubs, personal information — is protected by a stricter authentication step beyond the ExakTime PIN.
When a user logs in directly with a Username and Password, full access to all features they are permissioned for — across both ExakTime and Core HR — is granted immediately.
Biometric Authentication
When a user logs in with a Username and Password, the app will prompt them to enable biometric authentication using their device's built-in capabilities (Face ID, Touch ID, or Google Biometrics). Once enabled, biometrics allow quick re-entry into the app when it is closed and reopened — without requiring the user to re-enter their credentials each time.
- Biometric authentication is available on both iOS and Android devices
- If a user explicitly logs out of the app, they will be prompted to re-enter their Username and Password on next launch; biometrics will not bypass a full logout
- The intended experience is that users remain logged in between sessions, with biometrics serving as the re-entry method
Core HR Features — Launch Release
My Info (Employee Profile Card)
Employees see a read-only profile card as the default landing screen — displaying their key HR details including name, title, manager, department, and work location. This gives employees a quick, mobile-friendly way to confirm their HR information without contacting HR or logging into a desktop system.
Company Directory (Read-Only)
A searchable company directory lets employees look up coworkers across the organization. Particularly valuable for distributed and field workforces where employees regularly need to identify the right person to contact on a job site or project.
- Access to the Company Directory requires the logged-in user to have Company Directory permissions enabled
- The search bar is an active, real-time search across all fields including name, employee ID, and department
- Each employee record in the directory displays: Name, Department, Employee ID, Work Address, Work Email, and Work Phone
- Quick links for calling and emailing are functional — tapping a phone number or email address will launch the device's native dialer or mail app directly
My Benefits (Benefits Summary Card)
Employees can view their current active benefit elections and contribution coverage directly from the app, along with downloadable benefit statements and a full history of past coverage.
Benefits Coverage - Displays active benefit elections such as Medical, Dental, 401K, Health FSA, and others. Each coverage record includes:
- Plan Name
- Plan Type

Core Time and Attendance and Time Off
For CoreHR users with Time and Attendance active, with mobile clock in enabled.
Users will have access to utilize Core HR's time and attendance and Time Off. The functionality is the same as the current CoreHR mobile app with slight theming updates.
Help Menu changes — Launch Release
The Help menu in the Arcoro Unified Mobile App includes updates to streamline support and troubleshooting for field users.
Support codes are no longer required for common support interactions. In their place, two dedicated options are now standard in the Help menu:
- Send Logs — Allows the user to send diagnostic logs directly from the app, giving the support team the information they need without requiring manual troubleshooting steps from the field
- Perform Full Update — Triggers a full sync update from the app, enabling support to direct users through this step quickly and consistently during troubleshooting
These changes reduce friction during support calls and give the support team clearer, more reliable tools when logs or a full sync are needed to resolve an issue.
Please note that the following Help menu options visible in development and QA builds — Dot Mode, Localization, Log File, Preferences, and User Permissions — will not appear in the production release of the app. These options were added exclusively for development and QA use and are not intended for user-facing builds. Any screenshots captured during testing that show these options should not be used in external-facing materials.
