Scheduling large field crews across multiple jobsites is time-consuming when your tools limit how much you can see at once. ExakTime Scheduler V2 previously restricted views to a maximum of 10 employees or 10 locations at a time — workable for small teams, but a real friction point for medium and large construction and field-service organizations. Schedulers and operations managers had to paginate, navigate, and scroll repeatedly just to confirm whether a jobsite was properly staffed.
This release expands Scheduler V2 with broader grid visibility, a new list view, copy/repeat schedule tools, and mass scheduling workflows — all designed to reduce the time and effort required to manage high-volume labor forces across multiple sites.
Enhancements
A new list view is now available alongside the existing calendar view. The list view includes:
- A full-featured data grid with scheduled shifts across employees and locations.
- Task sub-rows that display labor detail within each scheduled shift.
- Recurring schedule icons to identify repeating assignments at a glance.
- "Add Shift" button added to both Calendar and List View
- Integrated edit and delete shift actions directly from list rows.
- The search bar allows quick search filtering for employee name, employee ID, shift title, location or cost code
- Column header filters allow for dynamic filtering based on multiple data points. Filter for a few employees or locations for quick comparisons.
Copy Shift / Schedule Repeat
- Copy an existing shift, including all shift details, and apply it to a new date or date range.
- When copying across a date range, weekends can be excluded.
- Shift templates can be saved and reused across multiple employees.
- All shift details remain editable after copying before saving.
Copy a shift by editing an existing shift and clicking the Copy button.
- All shift details except the employee selection will be maintained in the copy modal.
- All shift details are editable in this copy. Including title, recurrence, tasks, notes, and attachments.
Easy Bulk Scheduling
Users can now schedule multiple of employees simultaneously without the need to filter by a specific location for selection, reducing the manual effort of adding individual shifts for large crews.
- An Add Shift Button has been added to both the Calendar view and List view of scheduling.
Employee selection now supports a check box selection from the drop-down. No more choosing and re-opening the selection for multiple employees.
Differences between Calendar and List View
- Date Range Controllers: Each view handles date range selection independently and will not carry over between views
- Employee or location filters: Each view handles filtering differently and selections in each view will not carry over. Filters must be set independently in each view.
Access to copy functionality is controlled by a new Scheduler Copy permission, which must be assigned to the relevant user roles. The scheduler is accessible via a feature flag; see Availability and Access below.
Availability and Access
- ExakTime customers with the Scheduler V2 module enabled.
- Schedulers and operations managers with the appropriate role-based permissions.
- The Copy Shift capability requires the Scheduler Copy permission to be assigned to a user role.
- Customers without Scheduler V2 enabled or without the feature flag active will not see these enhancements.

- What happens to my existing schedules when I copy them?
Copying a shift creates a new shift — the original is not changed. You can edit all details before saving the copied version.
- Can I exclude weekends when copying a shift across a date range?
Yes — there is an option to exclude weekends when applying a shift to a date range.
