Updating the Schedule for Your Data Exports

Data exports can be scheduled, so you do not need to manually run them if you routinely need them. If you decide that you need the data export to be scheduled less or more often, you can easily do so from the "Schedule" tab. For example, you may need a monthly EDI/Carrier file export on a weekly basis instead of monthly, or an employee compensation report every 7 days instead of biweekly.

  1. Expand Data, expand Exports, and click Manage from the menu.

  2. Click the filter icon and filter the data export list if the data export is not listed.

  8. Build a new schedule. It is best practice not to build your schedule out further than a calendar year.

    • Specify how often the schedule should run:
      • Every X days
      • Every month on Day X
    • Specify the time when the data export should be scheduled.
    • Specify the starting date of when the scheduled exports should begin.
    • Specify the ending date of when the scheduled exports should stop.
      • The ending date does not need to be the exact date for the scheduled exports. For example, the system will populate an "Every 7-Days" schedule up to 12/31, even if the ending date does not match.
  9. Click Create Recurring Schedule.
