8/2026 - Applicant Tracking Release Notes - Shareable Job Links

Field-based crews communicate by text, not email, and Arcoro's existing share tools rely on email notifications and portal logins to share open jobs. That friction is a mismatch for construction and field-service customers, whose employees are on their phones and have little patience for extra steps. Today, sharing an open job with a potential referral requires manual effort, and there is no simple way for a recruiter to get a job in front of a crew member's phone in seconds.

This release introduces shareable job links, giving every open job a dedicated, human-readable referral URL. Recruiters can copy the link, generate a printable QR code for the jobsite, or send an editable referral text to selected contacts. Candidates who open the link land on a mobile-friendly job page and can apply without creating an account, removing the friction that limits employee referrals today.

Enhancements

Shareable job links live on the top right of the Job Detail page in the ATS and are generated automatically once a job is Open.  The shareable job links widget only shows for jobs in an open status.

Generating a Share Link

  1. When a job is set to Open, the system automatically generates a unique, human-readable referral link for that job (for example, hire.arcoro.com/ref/riverside-foreman-a4k8z).
  2. The link does not expire and is unique per job, not per send or per employee.
  3. The link can be copied then pasted easily into an email or text

QR Code

  1. Recruiters can generate a scannable QR code that resolves to the job's referral link by clicking the "Generate QR code" button.

  2. The QR code appears on a printable card with the company logo, a "Now Hiring" label, job title, location, pay range, a "Scan to Apply" call to action, and the referral URL.
  3. Recruiters can download the QR code as a PNG or print the card directly from the modal.

Send Referral Text

Sending a referral text requires that you have the feature to send/receive text messages through the ATS. If you do not have this feature, consult your account manager for more information.

After a phone line is provisioned for the company, recruiters can then send text messages to share their job.

  1. Recruiters can select recipients for their job-sharing text message from a saved referral network group, by entering a name and phone number manually, or by importing a CSV of contacts. The recruiter can only choose one of these methods to input phone numbers and contacts to send the text message to.

  2. Recruiters then preview the text message, including recipient count and a live character count, and can edit the default text before sending. The default message includes the job title and the referral link.
  3. After sending, recruiters see a confirmation screen listing the number of recipients with a sent checkmark and the referral link that was included.
  4. Every text message sent is logged in the Activity History on the Job Detail page, including the username, timestamp, and action.
  5. Sending referral texts requires the new "ATS Referral Text Messaging Seat." This seat provisions a dedicated "Referral Text Messaging" line and controls the Send Referral Text action. At launch, this package is added automatically for customers with an existing text messaging package; new customers add it when they purchase text messaging.
