Prevailing wage rates are published by the government under an official Wage Determination Number (WDN), and a single determination often covers many of your jobs. Until now, each pay rate table in Arcoro Payroll belonged to exactly one job, and the WDN it represented was not captured anywhere. If five jobs shared the same determination, your payroll team built or copied the same table five times, and every rate update meant editing all five.

That duplication costs time and creates risk. When a rate changes and one copy gets missed, employees on that job can be underpaid, which puts your certified payroll and compliance standing at risk.

With this release, pay rate tables are organized by WDN instead of by job. You build a table once, link as many jobs as you need, and update rates in one place. This will allow you to:

• Save time: Build one table per wage determination and link every job that uses it, instead of rebuilding the same rates job by job.
• Reduce compliance risk: Update a rate once and every linked job picks up the change, so no job is left on an outdated rate.
• Stay organized: Find tables by the same WDN you see on your government documents, with a clear count of the jobs each table covers.
• Avoid duplicates: Arcoro Payroll recognizes a WDN you already have and takes you straight to the existing table.
• Close fringe gaps automatically: An optional setting pays any fringe benefit shortfall as cash and reports it on the WH-347, replacing a manual, error-prone process.

Enhancements

Pay rate tables in Setup > Wage Determination are now identified by their Wage Determination Number, and jobs are linked to a table rather than a table being tied to a single job.

• Go to Setup > Wage Determination and click Add (or Copy an existing table).
  
• Enter the Wage Determination Number (WDN) exactly as it appears on the government determination, and choose the Jurisdiction (Federal or a specific state).
  
• If that WDN already has a table, you will see a message letting you know, and the Add button changes to Open Existing Table so you can go straight to it.
  
• Enter your labor classifications and rates on the Classifications tab.
  
• Open the Associated Jobs tab, click Associate Jobs, select one or more jobs, and click Add Jobs.
• When rates change, edit the table once. Every linked job uses the updated rates.
  

FAQs

Do I have to redo my existing rate tables?

  No. Every existing table continues to work with its current job. We recommend adding the WDN to each table and consolidating duplicates when convenient so future rate updates only happen once.

What happens if I enter a WDN that already has a table?

Arcoro Payroll lets you know the WDN already has a table and offers an Open Existing Table button, so you can link your job there instead of creating a duplicate. This check includes inactive tables.

I made a typo in the WDN. Can I fix it?

The WDN cannot be edited once a table is saved. Create a new table with the correct WDN (Copy is a quick way to bring over classifications), link the jobs to it, and deactivate the incorrect table.

Can one job be linked to more than one table?

A job can be linked to only one table, which keeps rates for each job clear and consistent.

How do I find the table for a specific job?

Hover over the Jobs count in the Pay Rate Tables list to see linked jobs, or open a table's Associated jobs tab. Search in the list now matches WDN.
