This integration keeps company setup information — businesses, departments, unions, cost codes, jobs, equipment, and employees — flowing automatically from Viewpoint Spectrum into Arcoro Time, and sends approved time cards back to Spectrum for payroll approval. It replaces the legacy, manual AccountLinx (SyncLinx) file export with a modern, validated, automatic connection built directly into Arcoro's platform. It's for construction companies that run their accounting and payroll in Viewpoint Spectrum and track field time in Arcoro Time.
Crews are tracked in Arcoro Time, but companies, cost codes, jobs, and employees had to be set up twice — once in Spectrum, once by hand in Arcoro Time. Getting approved time back into Spectrum for payroll meant building and uploading a manual export file (AccountLinx), with no validation, no protection against a duplicate submission, and no way to tell whether a line had changed since it was last sent.
This integration removes the double entry and the manual export, and adds validation so a bad job number, a missing rate code, or an unresolved department is caught and reported — instead of silently landing wrong, or not at all, in Spectrum's own import screen. This allows:
- Payroll administrators and HR administrators who set up and maintain company data in Viewpoint Spectrum.
- Field supervisors and project managers whose crews record time in Arcoro Time against jobs and cost codes that now arrive from Spectrum automatically.
This is configured by an implementation consultant or system administrator through the Integrations connector wizard — it is not something a field crew member turns on themselves.
This integration does not replace, upgrade, or interact with the legacy AccountLinx (SyncLinx) export in any way. This is a separate, modern connector built directly into the Arcoro Integrations platform — not built on top of, or compatible alongside, AccountLinx.
Understanding the Integration and Data Mapping
