Arcoro Release Roundup for September 2026

For September 2026, we took a slightly different approach and primarily focused on the core experience of Arcoro that will be the foundation of new and exciting improvements/enhancements. For September, our major releases are:

  • Unified Platform - A multi-module effort to begin unifying all of Arcoro's offerings.
  • Modernization of Arcoro Time ⟷ Viewpoint Spectrum Integration - We have brought the Arcoro Time and Viewpoint Spectrum integration from SyncLinx/AccountLinx up to Arcoro's cloud-based integration framework.

You can learn more about our more substantial updates in the linked release notes where available.

Platform

Unified Platform

The Unified platform is a cross-product effort that will be the beginning of further improvements that will touch upon all of Arcoro's offerings. This will be a gradual release initially, but will eventually be available for all Arcoro users. The first stage for the Unified Platform is:

  • Unified Dashboard - The new Unified Dashboard allows you to jump to different Arcoro module pages/menus from a single place, letting you go directly to the page you want/need, replacing the previous experience of logging in to one Arcoro module when you needed another.
  • Unified Permissions - Instead of needing to jump to different Arcoro modules to set up an employee, the new "People" page allows you to set up all the permissions an employee needs from a single page.

But this is just the beginning. We will continue to build upon the Unified Platform and incorporate existing Arcoro module pages/menus into the Unified Platform or create new pages to improve your experience, such as with the upcoming Unified Timecard.

Integrations

Modernization of Arcoro Time ⟷ Viewpoint Spectrum Integration

Release Notes

This release moves the Arcoro Time and Spectrum integration from Accountlinx and Synclinx to Arcoro’s cloud-based integration framework. This modernization work eliminates the need for payroll and back-office admins to export and import files by hand to move time and related data between systems. The automated cloud connection syncs employee, cost code, pay code, job, cost, equipment, and time data through Viewpoint/Trimble AppXchange, ensuring accurate field time flows into Spectrum payroll and job costing.

Sage 300 Support Future-Dated Data

The Sage 300 write service has been updated to allow payroll admins and HR teams to send future-dated employee changes from CoreHR to Sage 300 before those changes take effect. It covers supported data such as new hires, compensation, direct deposit, taxes, and benefit deductions while keeping current sync behavior unchanged when no target date is provided. The feature removes the manual re-entry and timing risk that happens today when upcoming payroll changes cannot be synced in advance. For Arcoro’s construction and field-service customers using Sage 300, that matters because payroll timing errors create downstream disruption and support burden.

Payroll

SSN Import for People

Employee SSN Import for people adds a new bulk import option on the Payroll Setup/Import page for payroll administrators and implementation teams managing Time Only customers or Payroll customers without Core HR. It solves the current need to enter or update Social Security numbers one person at a time, which slows implementation and increases data-entry errors. The import matches existing people by Arcoro Employee Id, updates SSNs in bulk, and reports row-level issues without exposing SSN values. This matters especially for construction and field-service customers where fast, accurate payroll setup supports large employee rosters and tight implementation timelines.

Support Labor Class Setting to Exclude from Certified Reporting

This feature lets payroll administrators exclude hours tied to specific labor classes from certified payroll reports while still tracking that time against a certified job for job costing. It addresses a current gap for teams that have employees doing off-site or in-shop work connected to certified jobs, where those hours belong in cost tracking but not in certified reporting. Today, those teams remove the rows manually after the report is generated. For Arcoro’s construction and field-service customers, this supports certified payroll compliance without breaking the accuracy of job cost data.
