Arcoro Release Roundup for October 2026

In September 2026, we saw the first steps of the Arcoro Unified Platform bringing together the various "User" related menus into one menu. We continued that momentum in October 2026 with not just Arcoro Unified updates, but also updates such as:

  • Location Management - A single page to create and manage your locations across Arcoro modules.
  • Core HR Employee Menus - Bring some of the Core HR employee menus into Arcoro Unified to limit the amount of jumping between the classic and Unified menus.
  • Wage Determination and SAM.gov - A new AI Rate Importer lets admins enter a federal WDN and pull rates directly from SAM.gov

You can learn more about our more substantial updates in the linked release notes where available.

Cross-Product Note

While we do not list individual pages here, we continue to roll out the unified platform experience with improvements across the entire product suite and will continue to do so for the remainder of 2026 and into 2027. Customers will continue to see enhanced UI and easier navigation in all Arcoro products they use, in addition to all the features we're releasing monthly.

Platform

Location Management

Release Notes

Company administrators now have one place in the unified platform to add, find, update, and deactivate locations shared across Arcoro products. Location details, addresses, status, assigned employees, and product-specific settings are in a single customer-accessible experience while preserving each product’s existing data needs.

AI Assistant Phase 3

We’ve enhanced the AI Assistant to be able to answer “how do I” and “how is this supposed to work” questions using Arcoro’s published help articles. Users get documented guidance, a direct link to the source, and no longer must search documentation on their own or rely on an unsupported answer. It’s another way we’re ensuring users find what they need in every Arcoro workflow, right within the product.

Enhanced I-9 Export with Additional Audit Data

HR administrators are now able to provide government officials with a clearer record of changes to electronic Form I-9 records. The update adds logging when an employee initially saves a form, alongside existing completion logging, and expands report details to identify the changed field, its old and new values, and the user responsible. The report includes CHANGED FIELD, OLD VALUE, and NEW VALUE columns and rename “Event Created By” to “CHANGED BY” -- improvements that will strengthen audit visibility and make the report easier to use.

Indeed Email Enforcement & Missing Disposition Sync Signals

We’ve made two updates to our Indeed integration: enforcing a corporate email address for all jobs submitted to Indeed and investigating previously missing disposition-sync signals. The work will help customers meet Indeed’s submission requirements while restoring reliable data synchronization and visibility.

Restricting Access to Uploaded Documents in the Electronic Filing Cabinet

We've introduced a View Uploaded Documents permission in Onboarding to protect sensitive files stored in the Electronic Filing Cabinet (EFC), such as identity and banking documents. Administrators will be able to control whether Administrator, Admin & Manager, and Manager users can view or download uploaded documents while preserving their access to other EFC functions, including the new hire list and employee actions. Existing eligible users will receive access by default.

Manage

[Core HR] Core HR Employee Record Pages in the Unified Platform

Release Notes

Core HR administrators can now manage employee notes, documents, emergency contacts, company assets, and OSHA injuries and illnesses all from the unified employee profile. Each area retains the permissions, validations, audit history, and workflow rules that govern the current records, including document legal holds, shared emergency-contact data, and OSHA reporting requirements. This improves workflow while preserving the compliance and employee-record controls customers rely on to maintain accurate workforce information across various parts of the system.

Payroll

This month’s Payroll spotlight extends Prevailing Wage Automation with two releases that take manual work out of construction compliance: pay rate tables that come straight from SAM.gov and stay current, and a California certified payroll file built from the payroll you already ran.

California Certified Payroll Report

California does not accept the WH-347 for state-funded public works, so Arcoro Payroll now adds a CA eCPR (XML) format to the Certified Payroll report, alongside WH-347 PDF, WH-347 CSV, and LCP Tracker CSV, generating a schema-compliant file for one certified job and week from the payroll the customer already ran. California company settings (contractor license, PWCR number, workers’ comp policy) are entered once, and the PWC-100 Project ID and Contracted With are captured when a job is linked to a California pay rate table. The file won’t generate until required data is present, and it lists exactly what’s missing; every file is logged in Audit History. Arcoro generates the file only: the customer uploads and certifies it in eCPR.

Wage Determination & Automated sam.gov

Release Notes

Pay rate tables in Arcoro Payroll now follow the Wage Determination Number (WDN) instead of a single job, so contractors build one table per determination and link any number of jobs to it, with duplicate WDNs blocked. Additionally, a new AI Rate Importer lets admins enter a federal WDN and pull rates directly from SAM.gov. AI suggests a labor class match for each published classification, and the admin confirms every match and approves the import before anything saves. Arcoro Payroll also checks SAM.gov nightly and shows a badge when a revision is published. Approved revisions become dated versions, so each job keeps the rates it was bid on, and nothing is ever applied automatically. The release also adds an optional setting to pay fringe shortfalls as Cash in Lieu of Fringe (reported on the WH-347) and the ability to exclude labor classes like shop fabrication from certified reports while keeping them on the job for costing. The result is less retyping, fewer missed rate changes, and a full audit trail. Note that the importer covers federal determinations only; state and local tables are still built by hand.

Allow for Tax Overrides

This change allows payroll administrators to enter a specific federal or state income tax withholding amount on a payroll item instead of using the amount calculated from an employee’s W-4 elections. It supports cases where an employer or employee needs withholding to differ from the standard calculation, without requiring a separate workaround outside the payroll workflow.

Check Activity Detail Report

The Check Activity Detail report gives company leaders an itemized view of each employee’s paycheck in Arcoro Payroll. It brings earnings, hours, rates, taxes, deductions, fringe contributions, and reimbursements together with check-level and report totals, in PDF and CSV formats. The report fills a gap in the existing Payroll Register, which lacks earnings-by-type and rate detail alongside check identifiers. For companies moving from Sage 300, it provides a familiar payroll breakdown they already rely on, removing a reporting gap that Accordant identified as a blocker to switching to Arcoro Payroll.

Support Salary EE Recording Hours for Job Costing

For payroll teams supporting salaried employees who log hours in Arcoro Time, Payroll admins can now pay those their full salary while still capturing time worked for job costing and GL allocation for labor be tracked across jobs. This change separates job-costing hours from payroll calculations, preserving accurate salary pay while maintaining the labor data customers need for costing and reporting.

WH-347 Updates

Wage determination and WH-347 reporting updates give payroll administrators at construction and public works contractors more control over prevailing-wage calculations and certified payroll reporting. Administrators can choose individual or total-rate comparisons for wage determination calculations and produce WH-347 reports with labor classifications, fringe benefit plan numbers and funding status, configurable “Other” deductions, additional remarks, and explicit “NO WORK PERFORMED” notation. Together, these changes address gaps in wage and fringe calculations and report detail that require manual workarounds, helping payroll teams prepare certified payroll documentation that reflects how employees work and receive compensation on prevailing-wage projects.

Arcoro Time

Time Off Plan – Employee Job Override

Time Off administrators are now able to assign an optional employee-specific Alt Job within a Time Off plan for companies using wage determination. They can manage the override individually or through the Employee by Plan import, and it will take precedence over the plan’s default job for newly approved time-off records, including Company Time Off. This change ensures payroll and Sage Intacct receive the correct job attribution and reduces plan duplication, manual corrections, and job-costing and general-ledger reconciliation risk.

Grow

Performance Home on the Unified Platform

Release Notes

The Performance Evaluations home page now lives on the Unified Platform, giving raters, managers, and evaluation managers one consistent place to find and act on performance evaluations. The new experience retains the four core views—Evaluations due, Completed evaluations, My evaluations, and Pending approvals—while adding searchable, filterable, sortable grids, clear status indicators, paging, and role-aware actions.

Add Department to Various LMS & Performance Reports

We’ve added an Employee Department field to key LMS and Performance reports, including Calibration, Completed Evaluations, Completed Training, Incomplete Training, Assigned Required Courses by Location and Business Unit, and People Detail with PID. Administrators to are now able to filter, analyze, and export employee training and performance data by current department, reducing manual data preparation.

Changes to LMS Incomplete Training Report

The Incomplete Training Report now shows only courses an employee still needs to complete. Withdrawn, dropped, waived, denied, cancelled, and removed enrollments will be excluded across all report variants and export formats, while genuinely outstanding training remains visible. LMS administrators now have a reliable, actionable view of compliance gaps in employee knowledge, preparation and certification.

Integrations

Spectrum

  • Add Option to Exclude EEO Class from sync: Customers using the Spectrum integration can now exclude EEO Class from the data synced from CoreHR to Spectrum.  Payroll or HR administrators managing the Spectrum integration can turn off EEO Class syncing from the Sync Edit window, protecting their existing Spectrum values.
  • Spectrum Enhanced Authentication (OAuth) Support: The Viewpoint Spectrum connector now authenticates with OAuth 2.0 client credentials and rotates its own client secret, so syncs keep running after a customer's Spectrum administrator turns on Enhanced Authentication.  Construction contractors running hosted Spectrum can meet their own API security requirements without trading away their employee and time syncs.

Multiple Cost Types per Cost Code for Sage Intacct, Time, and Payroll

This feature lets a single Sage Intacct cost code carry several cost types, such as Labor, Material, and Equipment, through the Sage Intacct, Arcoro Time, and Arcoro Payroll integration.  With this change, field crews track time against the correct cost code and cost type, and labor cost posts to the right job cost line automatically, eliminating the need for manual fixes in the process.

Run Sync: Paste a List of Employee IDs

Someone running a sync in Arcoro Integrations is now able to paste a list of employee IDs into the Run sync dialog instead of picking each employee from the dropdown.  Paste list restores bulk entry, keeps the picker, and shows which IDs match no employee before the sync runs.

[Sage 100] Update Write Service to Support Future Dated Data

This feature updates the Sage 100 write service so payroll admins and HR teams can send future-dated employee changes from CoreHR to Sage 100 before those changes take effect. It covers supported data such as new hires, compensation, direct deposit, taxes, and benefit deductions while keeping current sync behavior unchanged when no target date is provided. It eliminates the need for manual re-entry and risk that can occur when upcoming payroll changes cannot be synced in advance.
