How to Order and Review a Drug Screening in the ATS

Drug screenings allow you to vet your candidates for your company and ensure that they are suitable. Ordering a drug screening for a candidate is done within the ATS while viewing the details for your job posting.

 Credits Required

Credits are required to order a drug screening. If you are in need of credits or have questions regarding credits, please consult your account manager.

Ordering a Drug Screening

Navigating to Job Details
  • Click Jobs from the top menu bar of your ATS.

  • Click the name of the job from the jobs list to view the job details.

  • Click the manage applicant drug screenings icon list-alt.png under the "Actions" column for a candidate.

  • You will be taken to a page listing any previous/current drug screenings and a button to order a new drug screening. Click Add New Drug Screening to order a drug screen for the candidate.

  • You will be taken to a page to select the “Drug Screen Provider” from the drop-down menu. Once the provider was chosen, an additional dropdown box would appear, allowing you to select a “Drug Screen Type.”
    • Arcoro On-Site – Drug test to be administered on location.
    • Acroro Lab – The candidate is sent to a lab for the test to be administered and a sample collected.

  • Once the drug screen provider was chosen, an additional dropdown box will appear to select a “Drug Screen Type.” Depending on the selected drug screen provider and type, the fields and options may differ.

    On-Site Lab w/ Physical Chain of Custody Lab w/ Online Chain of Custody
    After selecting Arcoro On-Site, fill out the necessary information:
    • Tracking ID
    • Date Administered
    • Drug Screen Type
    • Results - Pass, DNC, and Fail.
    • Notes

  • Click "Record On-Site Results" or “Submit Drug Screen" after filling out the provided fields. The button can vary depending on the “Drug Screen Provider” chosen.
  • Depending on the type of drug screening selected, the chain of custody forms can be mailed to you and/or the testing facility or the candidate will receive an email with additional instructions.
    • Email notifications will be sent from "support@wolfeinc.com".
    • If a lab with an online chain of custody was selected, the email will contain the drug testing authorization form.
    • The drug testing authorization form will include the testing location (closest testing facility to the candidate's zip code).
    • The candidate will have 72 hours to complete their drug test before the form expires.

Reviewing Drug Screening Results

The status of drug screens can be reviewed on the "Manage Applicant Drug Screenings" page where you had originally ordered the drug screening.

  • Click Jobs from the top menu bar of your ATS.

  • Click the name of the job from the jobs list to view the job details.

  • Click the manage applicant drug screenings icon list-alt.png under the "Actions" column for a candidate.

The “Status” column may show the following:

  • Pending – The order is being processed or results compiled.
  • Results Ready– The order is fulfilled and the results can be reviewed.

To view results once they are available, click Get Results under the “Results” column. An example of the results has been provided below:
