Using Scheduled Shifts Reports for ExakTime

Along with reports to assist with seeing scheduled shifts, ExakTime Connect features four reports to help check employee attendance consistency for their scheduled Shifts: 

The Schedules reports require that you are currently using the Schedules feature of ExakTime. If you would like more information about setting up and using Schedules, please refer to the primary article that outlines how to set up and use schedules.

Navigating to the Schedule Reports
  • Click Reports from the menu bar.

  • Click either of the reports in the Scheduled Shifts section.

By Employee

Displays the scheduled shifts by employees.

Report Specific Options

  • Show Actual Hours With Variance - Displays the scheduled shift hours, the hours worked by the employee, and the variance between the scheduled hours and the worked hours. If the employee has selected a location and/or cost code different from the scheduled shift, they will be considered a "No Show" for the shift.
  • Sort by Name/ID Number

By Location

Displays the scheduled shifts by location.

Report Specific Options

  • Show Actual Hours With Variance - Displays the scheduled shift hours, the actual hours worked by the employee, and the variance between the scheduled and actual worked hours. If the employee has selected a location and/or cost code different from the scheduled shift, they will be considered a "No Show" for the shift.

Early Employee

Displays schedule shifts in which the employee was early sorted by date. The employee must clock in to the same location and cost code as their scheduled shift for them to appear in this report, otherwise, they will be considered a "No Show" for the shift and will be listed on the "No Show" report.

Late Employee

Displays schedule shifts where employees clocked in late. The employee must clock in to the same location and cost code as their scheduled shift for them to appear in this report, otherwise, they will be considered a "No Show" for the shift and will be listed on the "No Show" report.

No Show Employee

Displays scheduled shifts for employees where the employee does not have a corresponding time record that aligns with their schedule. If the employee has clocked in to a location and/or cost code different from the scheduled shift, they will be considered a "No Show" for the shift, even if they clocked in at the correct date/time. This report will also list scheduled items in the future.

This report does not have any report specific options.

Scheduled Shifts with Clock In/Out Variance

This report displays the time variance from their scheduled shift to their actual punch times.

  • Show Clock In/Out Variance
  • Include Punches Outside of the Scheduled - If the employee clocks in to location/cost code different than their scheduled shift, the time record will not be listed unless if this option is enabled.
