Business Units require an additional purchase to be enabled and set up for your ATS account. For more information, please contact your sales rep/account manager.

"Business Units" is a feature of the ATS that allows a primary company (parent) to determine what a subsidiary company (child) has access to in the ATS, ranging from restricting access to certain options to restricting/allowing access to items created at the parent company level. After purchase, your "Business Units" will be created by us at Arcoro, so you can have the appropriate "parent" and "child" business units for further configuration by your organization in the ATS.

'Business Unit Management' in the ATS is where an admin of the parent account can grant/restrict access to various pages and features of the ATS. One important aspect of the 'Business Unit Management' menu is that it allows you to specify 

Grant/Restrict Account Access

1. Click Users.

   

2. Users should list the users of the parent account on the left-hand side, and your parent/child accounts towards the top of the table. 

   • If the desired business unit is not listed, please contact us for assistance.
   • If you have not created the user in the parent account yet, you can refer to the following guide for more information on how to create a new user.

   

3. You can refer to the following table for how to grant/restrict a user to parent/child accounts.
   • - Attach all users for this row or column.
   • - Detach all users for this row or column.
   • - Clear all unsaved changes for this row or column. 
   • - User is attached to the child and will be available for use.
   • - User is detached from the child and will not be available.
   • - User is currently attached and will be detached from the child when your changes are saved.
   • - User is currently deattached and will be attached to the child when your changes are saved.
4. Save your changes.
