Updating a Candidate's Phone Number or Text Messaging Status for the ATS

If you are interested in adding this feature to your ATS module, please contact your sales rep/account manager for more information.

The phone number used for text messaging a candidate and opting them in/out of text messaging is performed through the candidate's profile. If you do not have permission to access a candidate's profile, please consult your Administrator for assistance. 

If a candidate opts out of text messaging, you will need to communicate via email or by calling them. Candidates and hires that opt out of text messages can also restart the service by texting "START" to your text messaging number.”

Navigating to the Candidate Profile
  1. Click Candidates from the top menu bar.

  2. Search for and click the name of the candidate to view their profile.

Updating Candidate's Phone Information

  1. Click the edit Edit Icon - 00.png icon next to "Phone Number(s) & SMS" under "Contact Information".

  2. Update the phone number information as needed. Click Save when finished.
    • Enter or update the phone number(s) in the provided fields.
    • Specify which phone number should be used for SMS communication.
    • Opt the candidate in or out of SMS communication as needed. The candidate should only be manually opted in if they consent to SMS communication.
